OUR COMMENTS: THIS IS A HOT WATER CASINO as the name suggests... and it is full of very "HOT GAMING". The dining is outstanding with 5 or 6 great eating-places with the top being THE STEAKHOUSE AND THE SAGE.... WOW! As for gaming there isn't anything left to chance with over 1,000 slots, 50 tables and poker seating and at least 10 additional other tables not always busy. NOW WHAT MORE CAN WE WANT...? Well you know, if you have been traveling with us, RV HOOK UPS. NO, NOT THIS YEAR AND MOST LIKELY NOT IN 09. BUT, MAYBE DOWN THE TRAIL. It is sad that we can't rate them higher but you know why.... NO RV stuff.
OUR COMMENTS: Now don't be mislead by this low rating...WE THINK THIS WILL BE A WINNER FOR ALL INVOLVED. It is small but with BIG DREAMS and from what we see it will make the dream come true. There are slots and table games for several hours of fun. Of course no RV Camping but it could come. The dining is good although not a lot of options, but again we think this will come down the road. There are many casinos in the area but this one is friendly and asking for new friends... IT IS WORTH A VISIT! (1-888-PLAY WIN)

OUR COMMENTS: This casino has many wonderful aspects but has larger problems for us RVER'S. They will not let you park in the parking lot overnight. SO DON'T STOP! There is parking in Fortuna about 5 minutes away and there is transportation from the RV Park in town to the casino. I was a little upset when I learned about the parking problem but I will recover! Maybe! I guess I will tell you about the dining... It is good with a good quality of food at a very reasonable price. The gaming is also good with lots of options both in slots and at the tables.... BUT, remember there is NO OVER NIGHT PARKING!
OUR COMMENTS: Start with the good things. Over 1,000 slots and the variety is outstanding. Mary walked around three times before landing at her machine. Me, well I found a table of single deck 21 and played for a short time. I can only give so much money and then I stop. Today was not my lucky day. But as for the casino it is grand. Lots of games both table and slots, with by the way, a smoke free section a casino within in a casino. Very cool! Dining, one of our very favorite things to do in casinos was wonderful. With over 6 different restaurants and a wonderful fine dining spot, Seven Sisters, you can't go wrong eating here. It is, a 24/7 casino and we are welcome to park in the outside lot although NO RV CAMPING.
OUR COMMENTS: LOTS OF SLOTS and Mary was happy here. I don't know the number but we can say that the variety is good and plenty of each kind to search for the big winner. A problem with the table games becomes evident when I tried to play "Craps". Because California is playing hardball with the Indians and if they don't play along there "Crap" games must use cards not the standard dice. NO FUN! Poker had the standard games played with a few tables to search for a winning dealer... Dining was only just ok with only a couple of offerings. Pizza seemed like something different so we tried it and it was good. The buffet looked real good but we stayed with the pizza idea. NO RV CAMPING - some parking available...

OUR COMMENTS: 2008 UPDATE: The first report saw a very small casino on paper and not much going for it........... WOW WHAT A CHANGE Lets start with the outside facility in a word, "beautiful" location on 101 with trees almost all around and the ocean in view from the 10 Star dining room. Well, maybe not 10 star but very very good. RV'ers you have what you need water....NO DUMP and NO Electric but that's OK because the beauty will get you through for a couple of days. BEST OF ALL IT IS FREE!!!! Let us move inside... well at first I was a little "taken aback" by the clerk at the Club membership booth. She was busy and not very friendly but with a little smile I did get her to contact one of the head folks. A very nice young lady appeared and without delay was interested in me and what I wanted to learn about the casino. It turned out that this person, Ms. Jenni Dodd was the Marketing Manager and spent the better part of 30 minutes showing me the facility and talking about future plans and just FULL of wonderful information.... WOW what a great lady. Mary found all the slots she loves and as a matter of fact did very well......... You know I don't talk much about the games only to list them but because Mary was so happy here I will say again the Gaming was good. Let us talk about the food........ We dined at the Sunset Restaurant overlooking a beautiful bay and with the sun setting, now we know the reason for the name.... Sunset Room! Rob Crouch the manager walked around and spoke with the guests in this beautiful setting and he made us feel welcome. The food was wonderful with many sea food specials. The price was up there but worth every dollar. A great selection of wines were served which could be pear with your dinner. Check out the web site for more great information...............MAKE THIS A STOP! The 3 on RV Friendly is because they don't have full hook-ups but remember it is FREE!
OUR COMMENTS: This casino has taken the "high road" and is developing a beautiful casino and resort. Although there is no RV Camping we did feel welcome with our motor home and a visit is a good thing. They have over 2,000 slots and that is next to Las Vegas style casinos. The table games are also plentiful with a great variety of options at over 40 tables. The attitude is wonderful from the staff and we felt right at home and that is important to both of us. Dining like everything else in this casino has variety abounding. I believe we say 7 eating establishments and with great menus. The Vintage Steakhouse was outstanding and I think a first class establishment all the way, both with food and operation. THIS IS A 24/7 CASINO
OUR COMMENTS: WOW! A beautiful casino in a great location but we were told RV'S ARE NOT WELCOME... Now this is only the second time in reviewing several hundred casinos that we have received such a C O L D reception. The other casino was Barbara in Southern California and we did rate that casino because they invited us to stay over night but hoped we could find a place the second night and we did. Oh! We are welcome at Chumash to come and play but we are not welcome to park, even park, in their lots. SO I WILL STOP THE VERY VERY POSITIVE REVIEW HERE.... You call them and see for yourself. We are sick about this.

OUR COMMENTS: NO RV CAMPING AND NOT MUST OF A PLACE TO EVEN PARK OUR RIG.... The location is wonderful and the plans for the future sound great but today I would say DON'T STOP. The new Director of Marketing is wonderful, Ms. L.A. Brown but has a daunting task before her that of promotion a "whole in the wall casino". I think in a year or two this casino will make the map and be a place to stop. Let me restate that.... I would stop just to see the progress and maybe just maybe you can help me update this information as the progress goes forward. GOOD LUCK Ms. L.A. Brown
OUR COMMENTS: W O W! This mighty little casino may not have much in the way of fine dining or massive numbers of slots but it has RV HOOKS UPS with electric only. We will take it. This maybe the first casino we have found with this situation but because of the location it is worth a visit. The casino has a few slots and Mary Alice did find a good one to play. Cards are limited to 3 & 4 card Poker at the tables with a few Blackjack dealers. There is a little Texas Hold'em and the games are friendly. Food is something that we did without and we eat in the motor home as we only stayed for a couple of hours. Electric POWER AT THE RV SITE
OUR COMMENTS: RV Camping at the KOA campground next to the casino... This is wonderful with the park for the family and the gaming for the adults... it all works for most RVer's. We seldom travel with the grand kids but this would be a good stop if they were with us during this trip. Slots are quality and in great number and I believe there are over 900 slots and most of the valued games are included in their selection. In the Big Room they play Texas Hold'em and no limit Omaha as well as Seven Card Stud. Tournaments for Texas Hold'em are often and full of excitement. Blackjack is also played at the tables with single deck and 3-card poker. Dining at the Dream catcher Buffet is good with a great selection and fair quality. The hours seem to be limited to 4pm to 10pm Wednesday through Saturday. The Village Cafe is open 24/7 for breakfast - lunch - dinner with reasonable prices. REMEMBER R V CAMPING and it is a KOA operation so the prices are a little high but we hope the casino will address this in the future and put the prices more in line with regular RV parks, but for us a camping place with a casino is just almost heaven.
OUR COMMENTS: RV CAMPING NO but down in Oceanside, or Temecula there is camping... Slots, a spectacular display of the best and the latest slots in the country are here at Pala Casino in Southern California. The paper work for the players club says that there are 2,500 slots but I think there are many many more. Table games are more inviting than most of the casino games in Laughlin and there are maybe 75 tables. The games include Blackjack, Pai-gow, Baccarat, Three and Four card poker, Let It Ride Bonus Poker, Single Deck and 6-deck shoe and the list goes on. Dining includes 10 count them, ten good quality eating places with a great selections of both style and taste and of course a price range for all budgets. RV PARKING IS PERMITTED
OUR COMMENTS: OK, here's the deal... right now they have 2 or 3 spots but because a fire break went through the area the sites are poor but by spring they will be up and running with a great place to park for two or three days and AT NO COST.... The casino is small but full of exciting games and well worth a overnight visit. There are plenty of slots and some table games. It is, Pit River Casino, located outside of Redding in some beautiful California country. The casino has very limited hours but that will change as the gaming grows. Dining is well, NO MUCH but I believe it will grow with the casino. RV CAMPING take you best shot for an overnight visit!

OUR COMMENTS: A BEAUTIFUL LOCATION BUT NO R V CAMPING! Just this year 2008 the Casino purchased in the City of Alexander an RV park and will start operating transportation for RV campers. This could have been our BEST experience ever in a casino... well not ever but GREAT. From the parking lot guys to the Casino Manager, Rolando Cardona, our treatment was wonderful. YOU MUST STOP AND VISIT and it is only and hour North of San Fran. on highway 101 a beautiful drive after traveling through the city. Gaming is outstanding and a full compliment of slots and table games. Nothing has been left out for slots players or table games players. Dining is another outstanding aspect of this quality casino. Quail Run Restaurant has a full menu with reasonable price and a fine array of foods to choose from. Good wine list as well as quality wines. The High Roller Bar is smoke free and has sandwiches and drinks. CHECK OUT THE WEB SITE - THEY ARE GROWING! Give the casino a call to check on the transportation situation before you pass the village of Alexander on 101. As you know in California and in most States the signs for Native American Casinos is poor another way for the "NON NATIVE AMERICANS CAN CONTROL THE NATIVE AMERICANS". Call uss or call the casino for directions or best of call GET ON THEIR WEB SITE.... BY THE WAY THE 3 RATING IN THE OVERALL IS BECAUSE THE RV PARK IS NOT OPERATING AS OF 07/08 BUT SOON....
OUR COMMENTS: NO RV CAMPING.... Gaming is good with the standard Las Vegas style slots and most of the Vegas table games. Table games include Pai-Gow Tiles, Pan 9 Fast and 21st Century Blackjack and of course Texas Hold'em and 7 Card Stud. 24/7 casino Dining at the Broiler Restaurant is great with a creative chef and a wonderful menu. This casino does serve a tableside meal with a limited menu but not a bad deal for the hard-core player. Also, for snacks there is a snack bar with sandwich and drinks.
OUR COMMENTS: This is another example of and outstanding casino in a great location but no RV facilities, thus we cannot give out our top 5 rating in all areas. Palm Springs there are plenty of RV Camping locations it would be easy to locate neat this casino. We will locate a name in the near future for your overnight stay here in Palm Springs. If you pull a car you will have no problems and we would suggest you not miss this casino. The Spa Resorts including Agua Caliente Casino a great stop for a week or two, NOT IN THE SUMMER unless you like the heat. Summer is good as far as RV resorts and camping but remember the heat.
OUR COMMENTS: NO RV CAMPING......... This casino has everything you could want in a casino with lot and lots of slots over 80,000 square feet not just in slots of course. There are table games of every type and the Tachi Casino has developed a wonderful design for the players. Pai-Gow, Blackjack, 3 & 4 Card Poker and Fortune Pai-Gow. A special poker with of course Texas Hold'em. Dining is ok but could be a little better. The buffet was good with plenty of options and the Rez Dog Cafe gave another option for fast food.
